What would be my final thoughts.....

My entire experience in my writing class has been very enlightening. To challenge my thought process and focus on issues that seemed so unquestionable was an exciting new challenge for me. I have chosen over the course of this class to look into all three presidential candidates and it has been my focus to see and discover their similarities and differences. My final thoughts in my final writing assignment would be to talk about my feelings towards the candidates and the effect the media has on swaying decisions on Americans as a whole. Finally I would like to conclude with my ideologies concerning the issues that present with this election and possible outcomes. My curiosity prevails as to who may share my same inquisitiveness.

We're all curious!
It is interesting to take one issue and see how close they are - people are not voting on issues: they are voting on emotions and feelings. This is certainly true with BO and HC. But even take all three presidential statements about the war and foreign policy: they do not sound all that different. They have all 3 voted the same way for the war while all 3 were in Congress. If you take the way they FIGHT it, it would seem very different: McCain in Iraq for 100 years (that was not what he meant). HIllary obliterating Iran (that was not what she meant). Obama sitting around talking with our enemies (that is not what he meant).

Good topic. Media truly has had impact on the decisions made by Americans.

Media does play a major role in the decisions that people make. As a result people vote based on thier emotions and feeling not the issues as "mt" mentions.

One thing that everyone should remember about the mainstream media is that they are in the business of making money. They will sensationalize the "news" and stir up controversy to get ratings and are not the best source for objective reporting of the news.
